Wes Paul has had an extensive career in finance, starting with J.P. Morgan & Co in 1975 where he was a Managing Director and also held a variety of senior global positions in Debt, Currency, Research, Emerging Markets and Private Equity. He went on to become the firm’s Global Head of Investments with total oversight based in New York. Wes has a critical focus on disruptive technologies, macroeconomic and capital markets and catalysing opportunities. Wes also sits on the advisory boards of a number of start-up companies, charities and institutes.
Sir Peter Westmacott GCMG, LVO

Peter Westmacott joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1972 and served in numerous countries and senior positions ranging from Deputy Private Secretary to HRH The Prince of Wales to Ambassador to Turkey (2002-06), France (2007-12) and the United States (2012-16) before retiring in 2016. Peter is a Distinguished Ambassadorial Fellow at the Atlantic Council, an Advisory Director of Campbell Lutyens and sits on Ernst & Young’s UK Independent Non-Executive Oversight Committee. Peter has a deep knowledge and understanding of global and national level diplomacy and politics.
Lieutenant General (Rtd) Sir Graeme Lamb KCB, CMG, DSO
Graeme Lamb joined the Army in 1973 and retired 38 years later having been Commander of the Field Army and Director of the United Kingdom’s Special Forces. Graeme’s operational experience is wide-ranging having been deployed to, or in direct support of, virtually all the UK’s major conflicts since 1973. Since leaving the Army in 2009, Graeme has continued to undertake occasional work for HMG and been appointed as a Senior Fellow at Yale University’s Jackson Institute for Global Affairs, a strategic partner of C5 and advises Palantir Technologies. Graeme is a specialist in the fields of security, technology, geopolitics and conflict.
Thomas P Madsen, CFA
Thomas Madsen has over 30 years investment management experience as an analyst and portfolio manager. He started with J.P. Morgan & Co in New York and spent 21 years in London, eventually becoming the worldwide Head of Equities. He moved to UBS in 2000 in a similar role, including Chairman of the Investment Committee. He sat on the board of the UK Society of Investment Professionals, Insurance Companies, German KAGs, UK Investment Managers , and is currently on the University Of Wisconsin Foundation board, his alma matter, where he serves on the Investment Committee. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, with global experience in stocks, convertibles, currencies and asset allocation.
Dr. Anish Grewal
Anish Grewal completed his PhD in Particle Physics at Balliol College at Oxford University (Royal Society Rutherford Scholar) before moving into the finance industry in 1997. He started his career on the sell side where he developed and traded long dated exotic options. He was global head of exotic interest rate options at Natwest Markets (Greenwich Capital) and an Executive director at AIG financial products before transitioning to the buy side of the business. Starting with volatility trading at Edgeworth Capital (Lehman brothers), Anish has become a highly experienced portfolio manager with a successful and consistent performance in managing global macro and quantitative strategies at hedge funds co-founded by him in London and Singapore. He has also advised institutions on complex structured trades. Anish has significant experience in all elements of complex financial transactions across equities, fixed income, currencies and commodities.
